Cincinnati is a major commercial center in the Midwest region of the United States of America. An attractive city, Cincinnati stands alongside the banks of the Ohio River, which meanders through much of the city and forms the main southern border.

With many lively waterfront areas, shopping districts and places to eat, Cincinnati also features a number of lively annual events and celebrations, including the Riverfest each September, following by the festivities of Cincinnati's German-style Oktoberfest.

  • Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, one of America's most historic zoos, dating back to 1875 and home to many thousands of exotic animals divided into themed zones
  • Newport Aquarium, with more than 11,000 marine and freshwater creatures in all shapes and sizes, standing alongside the Ohio River, close to Cincinnati's downtown district and featuring underwater tunnels
  • Coney Island, a historic fairground attraction which first opened more than 100 years ago and also features water slides, a swimming pool and live entertainment
  • John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, a magnificent structure which was the first bridge in Cincinnati to link both sides of Ohio River, built during the 1860s and now listed on the prestigious National Register
  • Cincinnati Observatory Center, America's oldest working observatory, with a range of visitor attractions, including old telescopes and astronomy-related exhibits
  • Carew Tower, the city's highest structure, featuring Art-Deco architecture and completed in 1931, with an observation deck offering exceptional views of the Cincinnati area
  • Cincinnati Bengals, a popular American football team which regularly plays at the Paul Brown Stadium, attracting large crowds
  • Cincinnati Reds, a popular Major League Baseball team, playing at the Great American Ball Park, their home stadium standing along Main Street
  • Showboat Majestic, an iconic paddle boat dating back to the 1920s, now permanently docked and featuring regular theatrical events and guided tours
  • Fountain Square, an important public space standing in the heart of Cincinnati, home to the Tyler Davidson Fountain, a striking centerpiece dating back to the 1870s
  • Cincinnati Museum Center, a large complex comprising three interesting museums, all of which are housed under one roof
